Almost Daily Paintings by Raymond These pieces are postcard size oil paintings that I create almost every weekday. Note the caveat of "almost". There will be times when other projects or commitments (life) might interrupt the process. I hope you take the time to view the blog and enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoy making them. Oh, I also reserve the right to post other projects I may be working on, large or small. Enjoy!
Click above to receive a picture of my latest painting directly in your email box. How cool is that? If, for some bizarre reason, the button doesn't work, DON'T GIVE UP, email me at info[at]raymondlogan[dot]com or press the email below. Feel free to say, "Hey Raymond, what the heck gives." Of course I will just whine about technology.
Why the subscription list is so important to me as an artist or why the heck you should sign up!
Towards the end of 2007 I started this journey as an almost daily painter and soon realized the necessity of a device to help keep my nose to the grindstone. I then proceeded to ask friends and fellow artists to allow me to send them an email with a pix of my work along with commentary. The list was born. My commitment to the list somewhat correlates to my commitment to my art. Have you ever had one of those days when you just don’t have the drive to get up and get it done? Well, the list helps me overcome this occasional lapse of drive. I also really enjoy receiving emailed comments from my subscribers – we have a real connection. Even though I may appear to be the Anti-Blogger, I do appreciate this blog. It has proven to be an invaluable archive and reference point for my work – my own Library of Congress, so to speak. But in the end, it is my subscribers who matter the most. You see, your subcription helps keep me going as an artist. Hey, it’s free!

Purchase
Be a fine art collector. To view available paintings, just click on “Available” in the label list below a painting or in the “Sort by Labels” pull-down menu below and the blog will change to show just available paintings. We do the best we can to maintain this list, but the maid comes only every other month and only in months ending in R, so the best way to check availability is to contact Raymond via the email button below. Make sure to include the title of the painting. Thank you. The Management
If you scrolled down this far, you deserve a quote. Here goes: “Too much reality in a picture is always a disappointment to the imaginative soul. We love suggestion and not hard facts.” — John F. Carlson
What was that? I couldn't hear you...I was listening to my transistor...
